He's drawn to ordinary people caught in extraordinary circumstances — the kind of psychological suspense readers of Gillian Flynn and Riley Sager will feel right at home in.
Austin is currently writing his debut novel, a slow-burn psychological thriller, working toward it with the same discipline he brings to everything else: a little at a time, every day, until it's done.
When he's not writing, Austin is a husband and father who spends his days working in product at a tech company. Fiction is the thing he makes time for anyway — early mornings, stolen hours, whatever it takes.
